Wavefront Diagrams

- Wavefronts represent the peaks of waves
Wavefront Diagrams represent the peaks of a wave propagating.
Imagine throwing a stone in water. Naturally waves will propagate outwards.
How do we represent those waves?
Through wavefront diagrams. Since we only take the peaks of the waves, the distance between the lines (that are representing the peaks) is the wavelength of the wave.
The wavefronts emitted by a stationary source are concentric (the center is the position of the source).
